Workshop
comments Pam Lewis I had such a great experience at the workshop..., my first ever. I really didn't know what to expect, and was a bit intimidated. But Craig is such a wonderful teacher and all-round nice guy, he made me feel quite comfortable. Additionally, all the participating artists were so friendly, helpful and inspiring. The workshop was efficiently organized. We were busy painting from 9am to 10:30 pm. I looked forward to Craig's slide lectures, he has a way of explaining complex painting issues in a easy to understand truth..., I especially got allot out of his discussions on; brush work, lost & found edges, cool & warm shadows and bounce-back color/light. He instructed me on how to structure my beginning painting, working in mid values. That is really helping me transition from a pen & ink line artist to a painter..., along with what I learned about applying paint with varied brushes & strokes. |
